-Listen y'all. You guys know we love you and our lil nieces and nephews. But there will be a bus for transport with limited seats, a late night bonfire, and if you know us: lots of alcohol. Do yourselves and us a favor and leave the kiddos at home. It is going to be all us adults drinking and we want everyone to have fun and be safe without worrying about the little ones.
-This is not black tie, but dress nicely and consider what you want to wear on a beach. -We just want you all to dress "nicely." -Guys: think dress pants and a button up shirt/collared shirt/etc, no jacket required. -Gals: you know how to dress for a wedding. Just keep in mind yall will be sitting on blankets on the beach for the ceremony! -WE WILL BE ON THE BEACH FOR THE CEREMONY, and again in the evening after the reception for the beach bonfire. I keep saying that because it could be wet/windy/cold. -Nice shoes and heels will be a bitch. Feel free to brings flops/thongs or whatever you want for beach time: yes even during the ceremony. The photographer wont be snapping photos of those tootsies!
-The Oregon coast will approximately 50F (10C) degrees in January. Dress accordingly to what that weather means for your body. -We will be outside and on a beach for the ceremony. In Oregon it rains ALOT, so please bring an umbrella or prepared to be wet!
-Theme: Ocean and lighthouses -Color: Blue
-It will be a catered buffet style food, so a bit of everything. There will be options, but if you have a serious food allergy, just text us and let us know. We will be sure to try and have something there you can eat. -ALCOHOL WILL BE FREE. at least for the first 2 hours before everyone gets blotto (aka "trashed" for our American friends) LOL.
