Matron of Honor
Blair’s first interaction with Amy was offering to take her shift at the Main Street Bakery at the Magic Kingdom so Amy could celebrate her 21st birthday with some people she would rarely ever interact with again. Since then, Blair has shown up in every way a true friend possibly could—through thick and thin, heartbreak and happiness, cupcakes and cookies. She’ll do anything for those she loves, including kicking the asses of those who seek to be killers of joy. She is strong in spirit, conviction, mind, and heart, and she’s also gorgeous and funny as hell.
Bridesmaid
Johna and Amy met as opening team trainers of the Trolley Car Cafe, proudly serving Starbucks hand-crafted beverages at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. During the intensity of the Starbucks training experience, Johna proved that she (like Amy) was also a Certified Goofball. Together, they fostered a work environment of silliness, chaos, and acceptance, which made work feel more like play. In addition to being a silly goose, Johna is also the most generous, thoughtful, validating, compassionate person. She freely gives what she has to any living being that crosses her path, making the world a better place one feral cat (or feral friend) at a time.
Best Man
Pat honestly can't remember when he met Greg but attributes that to the length of their friendship and not his memory. It’s proven that regardless of the time or distance to be a constant in his life. Throughout the years, spanning across multiple states he has proven to be kind and funny! Always making an effort when down in florida to still hang out and laugh about old memories or making new ones. Ever the extrovert, Pat makes friends easily wherever he goes. His joyful spirit is infectious, and his zest for life radiates positivity into the lives of those he meets. He’s the life of the party and the best hype man alive, but if worse comes to worst, he’s ready to spring into action and save the day.
Groomsman
TJ and Greg first became friends shortly after Amy and Greg started dating. TJ and Blair were dating at the time, so since Amy and Blair were best friends, TJ and Greg got to know each other. Turns out they actually have a lot of nerdy stuff in common, so quickly became friends. In the past decade, Amy, Greg, Blair, and TJ have gone through countless adventures and life events together—from cruising the British Isles to navigating a global pandemic, just to name a couple. Witnessing how Blair and TJ planned and executed their own wedding a few years ago has been critical in helping us figure out what we wanted our own wedding day to look and feel like. Witnessing them step into parental roles with their son, Levi, has been nothing short of inspirational. TJ is one of the most empathetic, compassionate people you were ever meet. He cares deeply about the people who are close to him, and would fight literal and figurative dragons if that’s what it took to help someone in need.
Officiant
Joe has known Amy all of his life, as he’s the first of her three younger brothers. They spent their youth forming a tight-knit relationship, forcing one another to play Barbies and watch video games, but both secretly enjoying all of it. In their later teen years, they went on numerous silly adventures together once Amy got a car and could drive them anywhere. To this day, Joe can still make Amy laugh harder than anyone ever has, and he gives the greatest hugs. In a way, Joe paved the way for Greg to come into Amy’s life and stay there. Joe was the prime example of a man who could be gentle-hearted, smart, compassionate, silly, and deeply thoughtful, all traits that Greg possesses as well. Upon meeting, Joe and Greg became fast friends, bonding over numerous mutual interests, especially their shared love of visually appealing, story-rich video games. A master storyteller, a commanding presence, and one of the most kind souls you’ll ever meet, there is no more perfect person to officiate our ceremony than Joe.
Wedding Planner
When seeking a day-of coordinator, Jess was literally the only one we looked at. Her website said she was a Virgo (super organized + detail oriented), a Millennial, a dog mom, AND a Disney adult, all of which were massive green flags for us. As an added bonus, much of her past wedding coordinator experience has been with Disney Fairytale Weddings. …sooooo even though we’re not having a Disney wedding, we did make sure to snag an expert who has been trusted by Disney in the wedding department many, many times. Jess is determined to protect us and our vision for our perfect day, and for that, we love her endlessly and trust her implicitly. On April 19, she is our eyes in the sky and our boots on the ground, so please listen to her and do whatever she says. …or else. :-) Instagram: @reve.events
Photographer
In our search for the perfect person to capture our big day, this Central Florida gal with a degree in photography who minored in journalism stood out prominently. Hannah’s style is honest, authentic, and genuine. She finds beauty in the ordinary, and isn’t afraid to be a little silly. She’s a self-proclaimed Deadhead, lover of black cold brew, nature explorer, mom of Crosby, and wife of Kevin, and we think she’s the absolute coolest. When she’s around, be yourselves and have fun; she’ll make sure to capture your good side every time. We love and trust this magic woman so much, and we hope you do, too. Instagram: @hannahglophoto
Videographers
Known professionally as The Copes Duo, Sara and Kolby are a wife and husband team who love immortalizing other peoples’ love through filmmaking and photography. What drew us to them was Sara’s mention of being a Swiftie who always has a beverage in hand, Kolby’s interest in Pokémon and knowledge of random facts, and seeing that they had their two dogs and cat listed with the job titles of “Security, Human Resources, and Janitor,” on their website. When we asked if they would be open to the idea of creating a wedding video for us that is similar in style to an episode of “The Office,” instead of a more traditional ceremony/details/glamour shots style of video, they eagerly welcomed the chance to stretch the bounds of their creativity. Nothing brings us joy like the thought of seeing our friends and family in their very own, “talking heads,” interviews, where we are the subject of their confessionals. All that said, please do engage with them and answer their questions! They’re the sweetest people, and one of the reasons why we chose them was because we think you’ll love them just as much as we do. Instagram: @thecopesduo
