Lark Inn Guesthouses

These fully furnished and equipped Guesthouses were built in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s and are on the historic “Cowboy Trail”. Long since forgotten, they have been saved from the fate of demolition and now have been carefully revitalized to re-capture their magic of the era while making sure that today’s modern conveniences and technology are at your fingertips. Each of their guesthouses has its own distinctive personality and charm. Take a look and see which one is perfect for your stay in The Flint Hills! These rentals are located in historic Cottonwood Falls (~15 minutes away). We encourage larger groups or families to book these rentals as they can sleep 4 to 12 people for a range of prices ($160 to $450/night). Rentals require a minimum of two nights to be booked. Guests can book directly online (or by phone) as reservations are now open to the public (and not held specifically for Bowman Wedding guests).

Hampton Inn

Surrounded by chain restaurants, this unassuming hotel is less than a mile from I-35. No-nonsense rooms feature free Wi-Fi and HDTVs. All have microwaves, minifridges and coffee makers. Upgraded rooms add pull-out couches. Kids stay at no charge with an adult. Parking is complimentary, as is a hot breakfast served in a relaxed dining room. Other amenities include an indoor pool and a gym. There is a coin-operated laundry and a snack shop. Emporia is the next biggest city from our venue (~30 minutes away).

From delightful, historic, and charming Airbnbs and guesthouses to glamping like you’ve never experienced, Chase County has your home away from home awaiting. There are several charming rental properties (besides Clover Cliff Ranch and Lark Inn Guesthouses) in the area (<30 minutes away) available to rent for the wedding weekend.

Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is a commercial airport 7 miles west of downtown Wichita, Kansas, United States. It is the largest and busiest airport in the state of Kansas. Located south of US-54 in southwest Wichita, it covers 3,248 acres and contains three runways. This airport is closer (~70 minutes away) but may have less flights than the Kansas City airport.

Kansas City Int'l Airport (KCI)

Kansas City International Airport is a public airport in Kansas City, Missouri, located 15 miles northwest of Downtown Kansas City in Platte County, Missouri. The airport was opened in 1972 and a new complex in the airport was completed in 2023, replacing the old one. While further away (~2.5 hours), this airport will have more flight options.
