Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, the more the merrier! We plan to have plenty of kid friendly drinks and food.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will have a "Welcome Event'' on the Friday night before our wedding. Feel free to join us, our wedding party and immediate family at Clover Cliff Ranch's historic limestone main house for well wishes and conversation. We will also have an "After-Party" in the main house following our reception at 10:00 pm!

Can we stay at Clover Cliff Ranch Bed & Breakfast?

Unfortunately, not everyone can stay at Clover Cliff. There is a very limited amount of lodging that has been reserved for the wedding party and immediate family. Please check out our "Travel" section to see our recommended places to book!

Is there transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

There will no longer be a motorcoach from the Emporia Hampton Inn to Clover Cliff Ranch. We highly recommend guests to pre-arrange transportation ahead of time. We strongly suggest guests to stay locally in Chase county rental properties to have quicker travel times to the venue. Clover Cliff Ranch has ample parking spaces next to the reception pavilion located in the back of the property. Ubers, Lift, and other transportation services may have limited availability.

When should we plan to arrive for the ceremony?

We recommend guests arriving by 4PM to give guests ample time to get ready for the 4:30PM ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a dress or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men.

What will the weather be like in Kansas?

Answer

Elmdale, KS is forecasted to be 90 degrees and partly sunny on Oct 12th.

Will there be an open bar? What's the alcohol policy?

Answer

*NEW* Clover Cliff Ranch now has a restaurant (The Cliff) that includes a bar. There will still be an open bar (wine, beer, other canned alcoholic beverages with soda, tea, lemonade and water), but there will also be cash bar for guests that would like drinks that include liquor. Don't forget about the "kitty cocktails" for kids and young at heart.
