What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal/ Cocktail Attire Don't over think it, just wear something nice, comfortable, and in which you're able to dance (dancing will be required unless you have a doctors note saying otherwise, just kidding, but not really). For those wondering, most of the evening will take place on hard floors, so heels should be fine. Remember, this is Texas, so it gets hot during the day and stays pretty warm through the night. Don't forget the sunscreen.

What is the cocktail situation?

Answer

Open bar, including beer, wine, and liquor, that will start at 5pm and run to 11pm. Plan to bring some cash to tip the bartenders.

Reception ends at 11pm sharp as we need to clean and vacate the property by midnight.

We strongly urge against it, mainly so that you can enjoy your evening with the adults, but if it's the difference between you coming or not, we'd rather see you there.

Since it's in Texas, is everyone going to be wearing cowboy hats and boots?

No. Although this will be in TX, don't be too discouraged if you go you're entire stay here without seeing the stereotypical Texan.

Absolutely. We will have non-alcoholic sparkling wine for anyone who chooses, just be sure to read the signs when choosing your drink.
