We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

On an unusually warm Sunday in November, Claire and her future Maid of Honor stopped by Hardywood Brewery for a piece of pizza after assisting with a friend’s move. Charlie had had the same idea - he was paid in pizza for his help getting a friend’s belongings from point A to point B. It was there that these two started their journey - after several instances of eye contact, and with an uber waiting impatiently in the parking lot, Charlie made his move; he told Claire he was in a band. Claire was obviously into it and gave him her number. They planned a date for a future weekend. Several weeks went by and Claire assumed the cute guy from “The Wood” was not going to keep their date (anyone who has dated recently understands why) but was surprised to hear from Charlie the day before they had planned to meet. With the date confirmed, she met him on his turf - Home Sweet Home in Carytown. They drank, they laughed, they charmed each other, and Claire let Charlie steer them to location #2 - Bamboo Cafe. The date continued on in the same manner and they both just ~knew~ ….that they could tolerate a second date. Thus their story began. Since that first date, they’ve shared many more evenings thoroughly enjoying each other’s company until, finally, they decided they enjoyed it so much they couldn’t live without it. So, after celebrating their friends in Sedona, Charlie got down on one knee and asked Claire to marry him.
