What is the dress code?

Our wedding dress code is formal. For women, this means a long evening gown, and for men, a suit and tie are appropriate.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Only children of the wedding party, and close family member’s children are invited. A babysitter will be provided at the wedding, and we ask parents utilize provided childcare during the ceremony for children under the age of 5.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event. Please note the bar will only supply beer and wine, as liquor is not allowed at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Your invitation will note if we have provided a plus one invitation for you. Thank you for understanding!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 4pm sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

What happens if it rains?
Answer
Our ceremony will likely move indoors, still at Thornewood Castle.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly request that guests do not take photos during the event. We have professional photographers to capture every moment so we can unplug and enjoy!
