Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If the wedding invite is addressed to you and your plus one, yes! If not, please only bring yourself.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal attire is requested. For women, think dresses (short or long). For men, think a suit or a pair of dress pants, a button-up shirt, and nice shoes.

What will you be serving for food?

Answer

We'll have buffet-style food for dinner. If you're vegetarian or vegan, there will still be plenty of options for you!

I haven't received an invite. Does this mean I'm not invited?

Answer

Yes and no. We are keeping our actual wedding ceremony and reception fairly small--around 40 people. Later in the summer, we will have receptions/family reunions with family members we have always been close to and in contact with. Next summer, we'll have a big reception for our friends! If you haven't received an invite yet, you'll likely be invited to one of the other receptions. With the cost of weddings (and trying to save for a house), we decided to keep it small and do something a little different so we can still celebrate with everyone. We hope you understand and can't wait to celebrate with you, whether it's at the actual wedding or one of the receptions after!

Although we adore kids (we are both teachers, after all!), our wedding will be adults only.
