Denver International Airport

This is the largest airport option, but it is a 4.5-5hr drive to Crested Butte. However, it is a beautiful drive. You will drive by several Colorado famous "14'er" mountains!

Montrose Regional Airport

This will be your second largest airport option and is a little under 2 hour drive to Crested Butte. We would probably recommend this airport as prices are reasonable and a lot closer than Denver International Airport!

Gunnison- Crested Butte Regional Airport

This is the smallest airport and most likely the most expensive option, but if your time is limited this by far the closest with it being about 40 minute drive to Crested Butte. There are shuttle options from here to Crested Butte if you didn't want to get a rental car. A couple of the shuttle options are, Dolly's Mountain Shuttle, Alpine Express, and Rocky Rides Ltd.
