Flying into Italy

We recommend flying into either Rome or Florence, as both cities offer convenient access to Lucca. From Rome: Approximately a 3.5-hour journey to Lucca. From Florence: Approximately a 1.5-hour journey to Lucca.

Journey to Lucca

From Rome: Hop on the high-speed Frecciarossa train from Rome to Florence (Firenze S. M. Novella). The ride takes about 1.5 hours and tickets are around €70. Once in Florence, taxis to Lucca typically cost €170, or around €180 for a larger van (7–8 people). From Florence: Florence Airport (FLR) usually requires a connecting flight from the U.S., but it's a great option if you're planning to explore Tuscany before the wedding. The venue is about a 1-hour drive from the airport. A taxi costs around €150, or approximately €160 for a larger van (7–8 people).
