Are kids invited?

Answer

No, while we love kids, the events are for those 21 years or older only. We hope the celebrations are a good excuse to leave the little ones at home.

Do I need a car?

Answer

No, unless you plan to do sight-seeing outside of the DC metro area. The airports, hotels, and DC tourist attractions are Metro accessible. Uber, Lyft, and Taxis are plentiful in the area, including the wedding venue at Mt Vernon. We will provide an Uber discount code for transport between the wedding venue and our hotel blocks.

Will I be able to go onto George Washington's Mount Vernon property (mansion, tomb, museum) during the wedding?

Answer

No, but you can purchase tickets and go any day 9:00AM - 5:00PM. See "Things to Do" for more details.
