FAQs

Question

Do I need proof of vaccination?

Answer

Yes. All restaurants, bars, venues, and indoor spaces in New York City require proof of vaccination and ID. All public transit and some other indoor places require that you wear a mask. Stay safe, friends, and please be nice to the people enforcing these rules. This was the epicenter for a long time, and city living requires cooperation!

Question

What are the COVID-19 Guidelines?

Answer

All guests must be vaccinated. You will need to show your proof of vaccination and ID to enter any bar, restaurant or venue in New York City - if it's inside, you can count on needing this proof. While masks are no longer mandated in most places, we recommend you have one with you at all times. They are required on the subway, in taxis, Ubers, and Lyfts, and on all public transit like subways, trains and buses.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail! For women, wear LBDs, short or mid-length dresses, jumpsuits, suits, or even long dresses since it will be chilly! It’s the winter season so feel free to pull out your sparkles, fur, velvet, etc. For men, wear a dark suit with a tie or bow tie. Same as the ladies - if you're into velvet or fancy winter attire go for it.

Question

Where are the festivities taking place?

Answer

Everything - venue, hotel, bars, cafes, entertainment - is in the same neighborhood in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The ceremony and reception are at the Brooklyn Winery at 213 North 8th Street, and our after party is at Banter Bar at 132 Havemeyer Street. Michael, Sarah, and our families are staying at the Williamsburg Hotel at 96 Wythe Ave.

Question

Is there a rehearsal dinner for out-of-towners?

Answer

Please see the "Things to Do Page" for some ideas for dinner on Thursday if you are in town! We're planning on having an intimate rehearsal dinner on Thursday night with just our immediate families, but will be at the Watertower bar on the roof of the Williamsburg Hotel just after for a nightcap if you'd like to join us for a bit! We'll likely be there about 8-10pm on Thursday.

Question

Is there an after-after party on Saturday?

Answer

We're forgoing a traditional brunch in lieu of a casual hangout later in the day at Spritzenhaus 33 beer hall at 1pm where you can pop in to say hey to catch up on the night's festivities. Check out the Schedule page for deets.

Question

So, no official brunch on Saturday?

Answer

That's right! You are free to enjoy the day however you wish! You can grab breakfast in the hotel lobby, or pick up a NYC bagel at one of the local cafes: Marcy + Myrtle, Bakeri, Cafe Beit, Northside Bakery, Vittoria, Egg Shop, or Butler Bake Shop + Espresso Bar.
