Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to venue and budget capacity, we're unable to extend plus ones to everyone. If your invitation includes a guest's name, then you are welcome to bring a plus one. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you celebrate with us solo - we promise it will be an unforgettable night surrounded by the most amazing people!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you are still able to enjoy the celebration and have a night out with us!

What is the dress code for the rehearsal dinner/welcome party?

Answer

Our welcome party will be dressy casual. No jeans or shorts, please!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be Black Tie Optional. "Black Tie Optional" means you are welcome to wear a tuxedo or formal evening gown, but this isn't required. A dark suite and tie for men, and a cocktail dress, long dress, or other elegant attire for women are equally appropriate. We want you to look your best and enjoy a wonderful evening celebrating with us!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive at least 20-30 minutes early. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM and we'd love for you to be seated before then!

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

No. The ceremony will be at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Park Ridge, and the reception will follow at Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling. Please see the "Schedule" page for more specific details!

Will there be parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

Complimentary parking will be available at both the church and reception venue, with plenty of spaces for all of our guests. Most importantly, we want everyone to celebrate fully and safely - so if you're enjoying a few drinks, feel free to use a ride share, designated driver, or leave your car overnight at the reception venue.

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There will be brief break between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Feel free to use this time to relax, freshen up, grab a drink, spend time with family and friends or take photos! The Westin and Hampton Inn both have free shuttles to transport guests to Chevy Chase Country Club before cocktail hour.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

TBD. The surrounding hotels will have shuttles to and from Chevy Chase prior to cocktail hour and near the end of the reception. We will update everyone accordingly once we have more details on transportation logistics.

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Crate and Barrel, Williams Sonoma, and Target. Please see our registry tab for more information!

How do I rsvp?

When is the rsvp deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests RSVP no later than Saturday, August 1st.

What happens if I don't rsvp on time?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests respond by the RSVP date listed on their invitation. Our venue and catering team require final guest counts and meal selections in advance, and we are unable to make changes after our final numbers have been submitted. If we do not receive your RSVP by the deadline, we will assume you are unable to attend and will have an opportunity to celebrate with you another time!
