I must admit, the idea of meeting someone on a quick trip to Florida wasn't the plan, but I was certainly happy about it.
We lined up to walk down the aisle and I was without a groomsmen - then came Joey. He was late from helping run errands for the wedding and not very chatty, but after he introduced himself we started talking and didn't stop.
I remember boarding my flight for home thinking, "it would just be such a shame if I never got to know him." I knew he was special and I'm now forever grateful to not only have gotten to know him, but fall in love with him 🤎
