A flight back home to be there for a friend’s wedding, and a drive up the road to do the same… we couldn’t have imagined a more movie-like way to meet. Having what seemed like no time together was just enough for a spark that created the most important comment I’ve ever muttered, “see you later.” It was something simple and almost too casual, and I even thought I blew it, luckily she knew exactly what I meant. From “officially trying something long distance” to calling a new state home; our journey and growth together, has barely just begun. Growing up 15 minutes from each other and never meeting is something that seems unlikely, but like in the movies, it only took Brooke moving farther across the country for us to finally meet. We cannot wait to start this new chapter and to see what else God has in store for our very own “Rom-Com”.
