Bridesmaid
Longtime friends Madison and Alyson originally met in kindergarten (2005)! They were nearly inseparable throughout middle and high school and remain very close despite the forced distance of college and full-time work. When the pair does finally get together, they enjoy hours of chatting about anything and everything, catching up on life stories, and a few very long hugs.
Groomsman
Drew and Andrew's friendship formed over washing endoscopes in Grand Rapids. Drew thought that Andrew was hired to replace him at work but that did not last long. They met during a shift, talked a lot, found out they were weirdly similar and the bromance started. Andrew still lives in Grand Rapids so they don't see each other much but when they do, it's just like Drew never moved away and broke Andrew's heart.
Bridesmaid
Tina and Madison first met during the Welcome Weekend activities of their freshman year dorm and quickly found out that they were both nursing majors! Set on largely the same class schedule, a close friendship ensued quickly. These days, Tina and Madison spend their time together discussing book reviews and recommendations, watching (questionable) reality TV, and enabling each other's loves for browsing stores and justifying "for fun" purchases.
Groomsman
Glen and Drew met because of their significant others, Tina and Madison. Drew had heard that Glen was an engineering student and immediately thought that there was nothing on this planet that they could talk about. Man, was Drew wrong! Over the last few years, Glen has never failed to make a room laugh with a joke that catches everyone off guard. Their friendship has grown into its own fantasy football playing, beanbag throwing, Jack and coke drinking hell of a good time.
Bridesmaid
Megan (another nursing major) and Madison also met within the first week of college; they became fast friends, study partners, and eventually off-campus roommates! While we all know Madison is not one to make the first move, Megan remains the only friend that Madison has made the first approach to (in the crowded dining hall, none the less). Recently, Megan and Madison have enjoyed catching up at different local coffee shops or exploring seasonal events- often sharing work stories and chatting about life and relationships.
Groomsman
Michael and Drew also met through their significant others, Megan and Madison. Michael and Drew's friendship finally took shape when Madison moved into an apartment with Megan and Michael during college, and Drew was over A LOT. Drew and Michael in the last couple of years have become friends outside of their significant others and nowadays talk about an overabundance of sports, as well as work and anything happening in this whirlwind of a world we live in.
Bridesman
Zach and Madison met in middle school but bonded in high school gym class, freshman year. Although Zach was a multi-sport athlete, he always jogged slowly to keep Madison company during (unnecessarily rigorous) running warmups (and other miserable gym activities). Throughout the rest of high school, they often attended the same extracurricular events and ended many days with drives down Jefferson Ave. To this day, the pair enjoys aimless drives with chatting and music, catching up on work and life over coffee, and countless games of putt-putt golf.
Groomsman
Dylan and Drew met in high school, both on the wrestling team. One day Dylan saw that Drew was driving some of the other teammates home from practice and asked if Drew would drive him as well. Since then, they have had their ups and downs, but have always been there for one another. Drew now views Dylan as more of a little brother than a friend. Dylan is currently in the army, stationed out of New York! They do not see each other much, but they check in on each other frequently, and Drew would not envision this day without having him there.
Officiant
Ryan is Drew's second oldest brother, whose siblingship turned easily into friendship as Drew became an adult. The brothers often spend their time together throwing sarcastic looks and witty remarks back and forth, but beyond that exists plenty of love and brotherly advice, too. Drew's dreams of asking Ryan to officiate pre-date the engagement by at least 2 years. Madison has always been welcomed easily and warmly into the family by Ryan, making this an easy "agreed" on her part.
Best Boy and Ring Bearer
Rescued by Drew and family in 2018, Harvie quickly became Drew's true definition of "Man's Best Friend". Just over 1 year later, Madison and Harvie met; they bonded quickly, and the rest is furry history! Despite the way he picks a new favorite paw-rent on a daily basis, the love that Harvie gives is like no other, and their day would not be complete without Harvie sniffing his way down the aisle!
Flower Girl
Adelaide, Drew's 6 y.o. niece, will bring the fun to the flower girl crew, while also getting the job done! Adelaide is responsible and kind hearted, yet spunky and unique; she brightens any room she walks into! Fun Fact: With her birthday being near the couples dating anniversary, watching Addie grow up offers a unique and sentimental visualization of the time the couple has spent together!
Flower Girl
Lilith, Drew's 4 y.o. neice, will surely bring grace and smiles to the flower girl crew. She is quiet at first, but has a beautiful, smart, and bubbly personality, with a contagious smile! Fun Fact: If you hear her asking for Aunt Buttons, she's looking for Madison. No, we don't know why... but it's cute, and no one better correct her!
