FAQs

A Small List of Important Things to Know (If you feel something is missing from this page and/or have additional questions, please contact either the bride or groom at any time; we'd rather answer a million questions than have stress or confusion!)
Question

Dress Attire

Answer

We are looking forward to dressing up for the occasion and are hoping that you are too! We're kindly requesting everyone show up in their best dress clothes to fit the occasion (think between cocktail and semi-formal). PLEASE no denim, no khaki pants, no polo shirts, no baseball caps, and no overly casual sundresses. As always, we ask that ladies avoid any shade of white or cream!

Question

Phones/Photos

Answer

During the ceremony, we are asking for phones to be silenced and put away, unless directed otherwise by the officiant. As much as we love that you want to capture our special day, we have hired a wonderful photo/video team that will be capturing the moment. Please allow them to get their shots (which cannot be redone) without floating cell phones in their view. Cell phones and cameras are more than welcome to be out and used during the reception!

Question

RSVP's

Answer

Please kindly RSVP no later than 03/15/2026 by visiting the RSVP tab on this website. If struggling or unable to do so, please get ahold of the bride or groom so we can assist you or mark your attendance manually. This RSVP deadline gives us enough time to provide the venue with an accurate count of dinner choices and settle any last-minute details that are guest dependent. For this reason, no RSVPs will be taken after the deadline of 03/15/2026 and unanswered invitations will be marked as declined.

Question

Plus Ones

Answer

Because dinners are individually plated, we will not be able to accommodate surprise plus ones. If you received a plus one, it should be noted on your invitation. If you feel as though we have missed someone important, or have any questions, please reach out to the bride or groom.

Question

Children

Answer

There will be children in attendance, but don't worry, we can assure you these kids know how to party! Children should be named specifically in your RSVP for clarity. We have lots of love for our younger family members and couldn't imagine celebrating without them!

Question

Dinner

Answer

Dinner is a seated service, plated per person. Meal selections should be entered in your online RSVP. You can choose lemon herb chicken or sirloin steak, both with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. The children's meal consists of chicken tenders, fries, and fruit. The vegan/vegetarian options is vegetable spaetzle. Please note any other allergies or restrictions so we can make sure everyone is covered!

Question

Drinks

Answer

The bar is OPEN! We've already paid for it, please utilize it! (However, we're begging you to consume responsibly and make it home or to a nearby hotel safely, because we love you!) There will, of course, be a selection of pops and juices for those who don't choose to or are unable to drink alcohol.

Question

Timeline

Answer

The timeline listed on the "schedule" tab is set in stone, barring any surprises. Please plan to arrive 15-25 minutes before the ceremony start time, in order to park, walk, and be seated before the ceremony starts. If you are not seated before the ceremony start, please kindly observe from afar as to not interrupt ceremony proceedings. In return, we will do our absolute best to be done with photos and start the reception on time so that we can get to dinner and party time!

Question

Parking

Answer

The venue has plenty of surface parking available, free of charge!

Question

Weather

Answer

This is a Michigan springtime wedding, which can naturally be very unpredictable! Our ceremony is outdoors but will last no more than 30 minutes. The reception will be entirely indoors, with balcony access for fresh air. Be assured, we will be watching the forecast closely. In the case of a light and tolerable rain, we will provide matching umbrellas for guests. In the case of heavier rain, the venue does offer indoor ceremony options.
