We realize this may be some guest's first-time in The Holy City, so we put together a list of some of our favorite, can't-miss spots to see, eat & drink. Please note, this is the beginning of high season, so there will be lots of other fellow visitors - make your plans and reservations in advance or accordingly! Sightseeing & Attractions in Charleston

Rainbow Row - A famous stretch of 13 colorful Georgian row houses on East Bay Street. One of the most iconic spots in Charleston. Pineapple Fountain - Located in Waterfront Park, this iconic fountain is a symbol of Southern hospitality. It’s a great place to enjoy the view of Charleston Harbor. The Battery & White Point Garden - A historic park located at the southern tip of the Charleston peninsula. It offers stunning views of the harbor, historical monuments, and beautiful pre-Civil War homes. Shem Creek - Right across the river from downtown Charleston, a lively waterfront area known for sunset views, seafood restaurants, and kayaking. Charleston City Market - Browse local crafts, and unique handmade items from local artists. Magnolia Plantation and Gardens - One of the oldest, best-preserved plantations in the South, known for its beautiful gardens, rich history, and wildlife. King Street - main block in downtown Charleston, lots of shops and restaurants

Day Trips

Fort Sumter National Monument - The site where the first shots of the Civil War were fired. A visit to this historic fort (accessible by boat) is a must for history enthusiasts and those interested in Charleston's history during the Civil War Era. Beaches - If weather permits, check out Sullivan's Island or Folly Beach which are a short drive from downtown Charleston. For those with more time and a car, we highly recommend visiting Hilton Head Island or Kiawah Island. Savannah - Charleston's sister-city, full of southern charm, great restaurants, and shopping! About 2 hours from downtown Charleston.
