There are different options for this- 1. Yes, we have a hotel block reserved at Embassy Suites Downtown Grand Rapids and you can find more information about that in the "Travel/Where To Stay" tab on this website. This hotel option is nearest to the Wedding Venue, and has a locked in discounted rate for our wedding guests! (Book your room by March 12th to be sure and receive this special rate.) 2. In addition to the hotel referenced above, there are a lot of hotels near the downtown area and quite a few next to the airport, as well. So this is personal preference- There is definitely a lot to do in the downtown area, but price may vary the closer you get to that area.
To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. If you know now that you are unable to attend, please feel free to let us know at your earliest convenience. Though you will be so missed on the big day, we completely understand that not everyone will be able to make it and appreciate you allowing us to plan ahead. We are requesting all RSVP responses to be submitted by March 1st, 2024.
Due to limited venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your envelope. When you go to RSVP you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.
Although we love your children, we regretfully can not accommodate everyone's children at our wedding due to restricted numbers and space at our venue. We hope that you can see this as an opportunity to have a night out and party with us!
The dress code/vibe for the evening will be Semi-Formal Night Out. Swanky cocktail party attire encouraged.
Both will be held indoors at the Revel Center. We'd recommend a light jacket/sweater if you run cold. It will be April (but this is Michigan, so you never really know). There will also be a heated outdoor area for mingling and a designated smoking area that is heated as well.
The ceremony is open seating, and we will have ushers there to help you pick the best spots! For the reception we will be arranging a seating chart to ensure you are able to enjoy your meal with your closest friends or family.
If you happen to be late to the ceremony, our coordinator will let you know how best to come in and be seated. The time printed on the invitation is 3:30pm, this is to allow you time to arrive and mingle for a bit before the ceremony begins at 4:00PM
Yes! Onsite guest parking is available and the venue has ramps and an elevator to accommodate wheelchairs.
Yes, there is complimentary guest parking at the venue and directly across the street from the venue.
We DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving, the Revel Center (of course) agrees. As such, they allow guests to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue and pick them up the next morning by 10:00 AM. We recommend using rideshare apps (Uber, Lyft) for transportation if you plan on drinking.
