Is there a dress code?

Yes — we’re celebrating a wedding in the mountains, and the vibe is elevated cocktail with a relaxed, natural feel- boho chic. Think polished and sophisticated, while still comfortable and effortless. We encourage attire that feels refined and wedding-ready: flowing silhouettes, rich textures, earthy or muted tones. Elevated boho-inspired pieces are wonderful choices. Suits are encouraged, and cocktail attire is appreciated. Please avoid jeans, casual sundresses, overly informal footwear, or anything too laid-back for an evening celebration. Our ceremony will take place on grass, so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly. And with the Colorado sun at altitude, don’t forget your sunscreen!

Altitude & Sunshine 🌞🏔️

Out of towners beware. Drink water like it’s your job, wear sunscreen like a local, and maybe don’t challenge the altitude to a drinking contest on night one. We’ll be celebrating outdoors in beautiful Boulder, Colorado (hello mountain air!). At 5,400 feet, the altitude and sunshine can sneak up on visitors. We recommend staying hydrated, going easy on alcohol your first day, and packing sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfy shoes for walking on grass. BRING A REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE—just don’t forget to sip! Common altitude effects: mild headache, fatigue, shortness of breath (especially day 1) What helps: Start hydrating 2–3 days before arriving Avoid heavy alcohol the first night Eat regular meals (salt helps!) Take it easy the first day Light stretching > intense workouts Optional but helpful: Electrolyte packets (Liquid IV, LMNT, Nuun) Ibuprofen or acetaminophen ☀️ Sun (It’s stronger than people expect) UV exposure is ~25–30% stronger than at sea level. What helps: Sunscreen SPF 30–50, reapplied Sunglasses & hats (especially for ceremony + mingling) Lip balm with SPF Light, breathable fabrics
