Engagement 2018
We met in 2016 at a block party in Denver — which was especially memorable because it was my first time going out in Denver after moving from Wisconsin. Little did I know, that night would change everything. I naturally notice hair… and that’s when I spotted a man with long hair, a long beard, a truly hideous Hawaiian shirt, dancing, and — for reasons we still don’t understand — wearing sunglasses at night. And if you’ve ever seen Tim dance, you know exactly what this looked like. He confidently walked up to me and said, “Were you going to ask for my number, or what?” Bold. Confusing. Somehow effective. We exchanged numbers. I couldn’t hear what his name was over the music, so I saved him in my phone as “The Dude.” Meanwhile, he forgot what I looked like and just hoped for the best. A few days later, we met for dinner… and what started with sunglasses at night and a Hawaiian shirt somehow turned into forever.
Bonnie and Tim met watching live music.
