Getting There- The Venue is close to Sreten's childhood home, and about 45 minutes from Downtown Chicago and about 1 hour from either Chicago Airport. *The nearest major airport is Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). *Another option is Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW). From either airport, rideshares, taxis, and rental cars are readily available. Public transit- CTA to the South Shore line is also an option, however, a vehicle is recommended for getting around NWI ( Northwest Indiana) Transportation Tips Plan a little extra time for traffic, especially on summer weekends.

Chicago - has everything you could ask for and Lake Michigan is beautiful this time of year. Walking along lake shore is a must~ Close to airport And about 45 -1 hr from venue. Closest to Venue: Merrillville, IN ~ same town as venue, local large shopping center and restaurants, car required to get around. Close to other shopping areas. Crown Point, IN ~10-15 minutes to venue . The area near the square downtown has great restaurants with some walkable options, cafes, and parks. Additional local towns stay near Venue: Valparaiso, IN ~ 20 min to venue, great walkable spot with restaurants, attractions, parks. University town Chesterton, IN ~ 30 min to venue- close to National Park, quaint down town with a few cafes and restaurants and parks. Great summer farmer's market Michigan City, IN ~ 45 Min from venue, close to Lake Michigan and state and national park.
