During Bonnie's last two years in Auburn, her weekly meet-ups with Jas at a local cafe or one of their apartments were a load-bearing pillar of her social routine. These interactions helped solidify her ability to "yes, and" a conversation, leading to many delightful memories with old friends and new.

Ten Gale was Cecelia's next-door neighbor for the bulk of their childhoods, and the two deepened their friendship after high school. Ten and Cecelia remained close throughout college and despite their distance visit each other whenever they can. Ten is also fulfilling a years-long running joke that Cecelia and Bonnie have had while wedding planning, which is that there should be an evil witch present at the wedding to cause mischief and cast spells at people.
