Do I have to stay at the resort to attend?

Answer

No. There are several 4-5 star hotels within 10 minutes of the resort.

Question

I have company. May I bring a guest?

Answer

Though we are happy that everyone wishes to share in this special moment with us, we are not able to accommodate additional guests. Only individuals who are registered are allowed.

Question

I can’t secure childcare. Are children allowed?

Answer

We understand how childcare is important. However, children who are not a part of the wedding party/guest list are NOT ALLOWED to attend the ceremony or reception hour.

How may I support you all in giving?

Answer

Thank you for thinking of us. There are registries linked in this page. Please feel free to purchase online. You may also contribute via Cash App or Apple Pay using Bonita’s phone number. If you’d prefer to hand deliver your gift, Please see Natasha, Chris or Kim to have your gift collected, secured and accounted for?

I was late and missed the ceremony. Is there a time that I may fellowship with the newlyweds?

Answer

If you are a registered guest, feel free to check in with Natasha or Chris to attend the reception hour. If not, feel free to join us at Sunday Brunch at 10 am in the Blue Lagoon Restaurant on property. There is a fee of $25 per adult and $15 for children age 6-13, children under 5 eat FREE.

Is there a dress code for these events?

Answer

We’re glad you asked. The attire is cocktail for the wedding and reception. Guest are asked to wear black. Please feel free to wear a black dress, jumpsuit or black suit. Stilettos are strongly discouraged due to the design of the ceremony area and restaurant floors. Though we are not in church this is a sacred ceremony. Club and beach attire are PROHIBITED. No sneakers, jeans, shorts, skimpy dresses or caps allowed at the ceremony and reception.

I don't eat grilled salmon or chicken that is on the menu, may I order from the restaurant menu?

We're sorry that our menu selections didn't meet your pallet's expectation. Feel free to request a menu from the server to order what you'd like PRIOR TO THE CEREMONY. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BILL.

Will cocktails be served during the reception hour?

Answer

Free beverages will be served during the reception hour. If a cocktail is what you'd prefer, please feel free to start your own personal drink tab at the bar on the patio. Please be advised that YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BILL.

Is there a room block for this event?

Answer

We have NOT secured a room block for this event. Guests are required to secure and pay for their own rooms for this event. If you wish to stay on property, please follow the instructions provided in the travel page to support you making your reservation as a discount MAY be available. Poolside condos usually book fast. The sooner you book the better!!

Is there a fee to park?

Answer

No. Guests staying on property may park for FREE in the parking garage. All others are encouraged to park in the open spaces in front of the property. Providing these spaces are full, please park in the Dollar Tree parking lot next door.

The ceremony is outside, what if it rains?

Answer

In the event of rain or inclement weather, the ceremony and reception hour will be held in the same location.

What is the menu for Sunday Brunch?

Answer

Sunday brunch is buffet style which included: Scramble Eggs, bacon, breakfast sausage, bagels,white toast , ham, roasted potatoes, French toast sticks, pancakes , fresh fruit, orange and cranberry juice, and unlimited mimosa.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at poolside in front of the bar by 12:30pm. All guests are expected to be seated by 12:45. See Natasha for seating chart.

What does UNPLUGGED mean?

Answer

UNPLUGGED refers to our request of ALL guests to refrain from taking pictures at the ceremony and during the reception hour. Guests are also asked to not post any pictures taken during the brunch on social media before October 30th.

When should I pick up my armband for the weekend?

Answer

Guest staying on property will be provided with an armband of a specific color. Guests who are not staying on property will also be provided an armband of a specific color. Guests who are NOT staying on property are asked to see Kim before 10pm on Friday or between 10-11am on Saturday to pick up armbands.
