Like many 21st century love stories - ours began with a swipe (or maybe a click?). What began as casual messages online quickly turned into late-night conversations and inside jokes. On December 4th, 2022, Trevor made the two hour drive to meet Heather in person. After a quick stop to look at hunting gear at Fleet Farm (naturally!) , we headed to the dog park with Croix. It only took one sniff and a tail wag for Croix to give his seal of approval - and the rest is history!

The first year of our relationship was defined by highway miles and weekend countdowns. Navigating long distance wasn't always easy, but the two hour drive between us only made our time together more intentional. Facing those early obstacles head-on taught us how to communicate, how to trust, and most importantly, that we were a team worth the effort.

Over time, our bond grew stronger through shared adventures, countless laughs, and mutual love for the outdoors. Whether we're hiking new trails, spending time on the water, driving the side by side through the woods, or just enjoying the quiet moments together, every experience has brought us closer.

On August 16th, 2025, during a peaceful morning hike at the quarry in Rib Mountain, Trevor got down on one knee. It was the easiest "yes" Heather ever said.

We can't wait to start our next great adventure - marriage! We are so grateful to be surrounded by the people who mean the most to us. Come celebrate and wish the future Bonecks a lifetime of happiness!
