Things To Do

Downtown Burnsville NC

Downtown Burnsville NC

321 W Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714

For exploring the town closer to the wedding, we recommend visiting some of our favorite places in downtown Burnsville. Homeplace Beer Co. is a must for pizza, wings, and delicious beer. For fantastic coffee, visiting Appalachian Java is a must. We also love Garden Deli, Snap Dragon, and Pig and Grits for all meal types. For fun shopping, visit Something Special or Monkey Business.

Brewery Hop

Brewery Hop

100 Sierra Nevada Way, Fletcher, NC 28732

No visit to Asheville is complete without visiting Sierra Nevada Brewing or New Belgium. If you want to walk to multiple, we highly suggest heading to the South Slope in Ashville and visiting Hi-Wire Brewing, Wicked Weed,, and Green Man Brewing!

Biltmore Estate

Biltmore Estate

1 Lodge Street, Asheville, NC 28803
, (800) 411-3812

The largest privately-owned mansion in the USA. The Bilmore estate is great for a day of strolling the gardens, viewing the house, or enjoying a wine tasting at the winery.

Explore Asheville NC

Explore Asheville NC

51 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801

There is so much to see and do in Asheville but a visit to Biltmore Village is a must. Enjoy walking around the village for great dining and shopping. We recommend eating at the Corner Kitchen for delicious home cooking. We recommend a visit to the River Arts District or to West Asheville for the best breakfast at Biscuit Head but get there early! It's worth the wait!

Blue Ridge Parkway

Blue Ridge Parkway

195 Hemphill Knob Road, Asheville, NC 28803

With access only about 5 minutes from the heart of downtown Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway is a perfect way to experience the Blue Ridge mountains. Best experienced through hiking, picnicking, or taking a leisurely drive.
