Back on January 2, 2021, Sarah was going to start the New Year by deleting all of her dating apps (those things suck anyway, right?). As she went to delete her apps, she took one last look at her Hinge messages and saw that Nik had responded to her "Nice fit ;)" comment off of a picture of him in a Buffalo Bills (Josh Allen to be specific) jersey. While she wanted to follow through with deleting the app, she messaged Nik back and said "I am deleting this app but if you want to text me, here is my number". Not long after sending that message, she received a text from Nik and the two started messaging all day AND night. For those of you who know Sarah, she likes to go to bed at 9 pm but once she met Nik, she stayed up until midnight not wanting to put her phone down. One of the first messages Nik ever sent her was "Are you a loud talker? My family all talks pretty loud" and it was at that exact moment that Sarah knew she had just met her soulmate on Hinge. She immediately texted all of her friends as she couldn't believe someone would ask her a question like that not really knowing anything about her (and YES, she is an EXTREMELY loud talker!). Thanks to Covid, they spent their first month texting, Facetiming, and going on "virtual dates". As they navigated through the online dating world, their connection grew stronger, sharing unforgettable moments and cherished memories together. When it was time for their first in-person date they shared their first kiss (if you know, you know) and went to get coffee at Taste in East Aurora. From that day forward, Sarah and Nik have spent each day getting to know each other more, sharing different experiences, genuine connections, and LOTS of laughs. Here's to the next chapter in their lives together!
