Lake Como is a beautiful lake 4 miles north of Darby, MT. Surrounded by the Como Peaks (also seen from the wedding venue!), Lake Como is a Bitterroot gem. We suggest hanging out at the day use area (swimming/water sports) or hiking around the lake to the falls/inlet (8 mile loop or make it an out and back on one side of the lake). There is a $5 parking fee in the day use area paid in cash. Cell service in minimal to none at Lake Como.
Blodgett Canyon is a beautiful canyon with a trailhead just west of Hamilton, MT. There is water running along the trail which allows for a place to cool off in the summer heat. This is an out and back trail - you'll need to decide when you turn around. Hiking from the trailhead to the waterfall and back is 9 miles. There is not cell phone coverage in Blodgett Canyon.

We are big fans of this wine shop in the heart of Hamilton. Jessi, the owner, has curated a shop full of special wines. She'll hook you up :). Stop in for a glass of wine/beer and charcuterie or beer/wine to go!
There are several breweries in the central to southern Bitterroot Valley. Bandit Public House (Darby), Bitte Root Brewing (Hamilton), Higher Ground (Hamilton), Blacksmith Brewing (Stevensville) If you are in the Missoula area, the options are plentiful around town. We recommend: Draught Works, Imagine Nation Brewing, Kettlehouse Brewing, Dram Shop (not a brewery but has many beers, cider, and kombucha on tap!)
The Hamilton Farmer's Market takes place every Saturday during the summer in downtown Hamilton from 9am-1230pm. The market is a great place to find local produce, baked good, breakfast burritos, arts, & everything in between.
