Maid of Honor
My sister, my number one from day one. Without her, sister trips would not be possible. From puking in squatty potties in Malaysia to gracing newspaper covers in Croatia, we've done it all.
Bridesmaid
When Claire and I met in college, we just found out we were both studying abroad in Ecuador and doing a pageant together. Such an organically formed friendship that brings so much joy and deep conversation to my life.
Bridesmaid
We met in a waterski meeting, then got into residence life together and decided to room together. Besties since then! Fun fact, Emily has visited me in every place I've lived in since college.
Bridesmaid
We met when I was interning in DC and living with Shelley's parents. I made her mashed potato puree, she fed me metamucil smoothies and threw diapers at my head. How could we not be friends! Harper Rose and Breck, our ringbearer and flower girl are 2 of Shelley's kiddos.
Bridesmaid
My ride or die for grad school. We met while getting our MBAs and bonded over a mutual love of visiting coffee shops and chatting, ahem I mean studying. Now most hang outs involve lots of cheese and wine, and still plenty of girl talk.
Best Man
He's David Ross to my Jon Lester. What can I say, he's been there through it all. Besties since high school, college roomies, tight like two coats of paint. He's marrying a White Sox fan but we won't hold that against him (Love you Allie!). Truly don't know where I'd be without him
Groomsman
AKA The Greek God. A former model, this guy is a sight for sore eyes. Teammates in track and xc in college. We once got kicked out of a bar in Chicago, not because we were rowdy, but because we were dancing too much. One of the most positive dudes around and the life of the party.
Groomsman
Also teammates in college. We met at a school picnic before Freshmen year. He saw my name tag which printed my real name, Robert, so he called me Rob. I was too happy to have made a friend that I didn't correct him for maybe a week. He now calls me Bobby F. Mette, and no, my middle name does not begin with an F. Can get the whole room laughing and grows one heck of a beard.
Groomsman
Brother of the Bride. I've never had a younger bro before, but I will soon. Rebekah and I had to fight over whose side he'd stand on. I won : ) He'll be pulling triple duty on the big day: Groomsman, co-officiant, first-time Dad
