Centre Street
A trip to Fernandina is not complete without a walk down Centre Street. Come check out the historic district that is full of local shops and great restaurants. There is also a farmers market on Saturday from 9-1 off N. 7th where you can buy fresh produce, plants, and snacks.
Egans Creek Greenway
Trail network close by that is right in the middle of Fernandina and is known for its alligators, birds, and bunnies. Address will take you to the closest entrance to the hotel on the Northside of the Island.
Big Talbot Island State Park
Lots of hiking trails, uncrowded beaches, and wildlife viewing. Boneyard Beach is a unique spot full of massive driftwood trees where we took our engagement photos.
Cumberland Island
Take the ferry across the St. Marys River to check out Cumberland Island for an adventurous time. Wild horses, miles of trails, and ruins from the Carnegie's winter home will make it worth the trip.
Fort Clinch State Park
Special spot if you want to explore a historic fort, walk on the beach looking for shark teeth, or hike under the moss-covered oak trees.
Kayak Amelia Island with PADL
Taking a kayak trip down Simpson Creek is a great way to explore the local salt marsh ecosystem.

Lofton Creek Seafood & More Inc.
Fernandina is known for its fresh shrimp so make sure to stop at Lofton's before heading home for any of your seafood needs. If you're driving in from out of town, don't forget your cooler. This is the source of the Iseley's seafood addiction. Make sure to let our friends that work here know that you're in town for our wedding (at their request).
Green Turtle Tavern
Our favorite bar on the island. Great spot to hang outside and listen to some local bands.
Salt Life Food Shack
This restaurant is just across the street from the Courtyard/Springhill Suites Hotel featuring an amazing rooftop area overlooking the water.
Sandbar Amelia Island
The location of this restaurant is unbeatable as its directly on the beach and across the street from the Courtyard/Springhill Suites Hotel. Live music on Friday and Saturday makes this a great hang out spot.
