We will be holding our wedding on the 2025 summer solstice, which takes place on Friday, June 20th. Our ceremony, "cocktail" hour, and reception all take place in the same venue- the historic Hofheimer Building in Richmond, VA (the city we currently call home!). This website has information about our wedding schedule, from doors opening at 5:00pm to the reception wrapping up around 10:00pm, information on hotels, travel, parking, and things to do in the city. We also have a page about our wedding theme and dress code, a page for our registry, as well as a FAQ page and of course, our RSVP! To login to the RSVP, you just have to enter your name and it'll match it to our guest list. We ask that guests fill out their RSVPs before Monday, April 14th. If you come across any issues or have any questions, please know you can reach out to either of us at anytime! We are so excited to have our wedding with so many people that we love & cherish.
We've been together since our senior year of high school in 2019, which probably qualifies us as high school sweethearts. Our relationship has seen us through the pandemic, college, living hours apart from each other, and now to living together and finally able to have our wedding! We're so excited to get married and to get to have our close friends and family to celebrate with us. In case you're only familiar with one of us, here's who we both are: (it's about to switch to third person but it's still us) Kate "Moth" Sheridan Kate, who also goes by Moth, is from northern Virginia, and as a child would often have birthday parties at Cox farms, where her and Bobby eventually met as teenagers working as scare actors. Kate has graduated from GMU with a degree in Film Directing and Social Justice. Kate is passionate about storytelling, and loves finding different ways to create, including clay, embroidery, jewelry, painting, writing, makeup artistry, and of course, filmmaking. They've dyed their hair every colour of the rainbow, but most often will have at least some pink in there. They love a good pun and collecting trivia, dogs (especially their boxer, Baxter), evolutionary science, baking, and getting distracted by neat looking plants & fungi when out and about. "Strong, kind, and unflinching in their love." -A biased review by Bobby Robert "Bobby" Schultz Bobby also grew up in northern Virginia, but out in the country. He'd often spend time in the parts of northern Virginia where Kate grew up, but they never crossed paths until high school. He's a life-long gymnast, and is nationally ranked from his time in competitive men's gymnastics. He currently works as a gymnastic coach while pursuing his degree in engineering. Bobby is known as a reliable, dedicated, and funny friend and family member, who loves to spend time with others camping or working out in nature, playing video games, and playing long sessions of TTRPG campaigns him and his friends have had going for years. (Including a D&D campaign him and Kate are both in!) Bobby has a lot of different interests, but especially Star Wars, the historical period of the golden age of piracy, Destiny 2 lore, collecting weaponry, bushcraft, and norse mythology. "Funny, clever, kind and caring. He's the most considerate person I know, and the prettiest. Really pretty." -A review from Kate that has not been subject to scientific peer-review
