Matron of Honor
Alex and I have known each other since we were freshman in college. We decided to enroll in a "cycling" class, thinking that we would get to do indoor cycling for an entire semester. WRONG! It was a grueling 16 weeks of getting mileage in and culminating in a 50 mile bike hike with the class. We spent many a mile together, laughing, sharing stories, and probably just fueling the competitive nature inside both of us. Alex has been a constant friend and source of encouragement in my life. No matter what, she can always finds the positive point in a situation. She knows how to listen and then ask the thought provoking questions to help you reach that decision you need to make. I am beyond grateful for this woman's friendship and this day just wouldn't be complete without her by my side!
Bridesmaid
Ashley and I also met in college; our first night on campus to be exact! Since that point, we have lived together, gone on many late night Walmart runs, developed a love for manicures, and probably drank way too much coffee. I love that she is always up for hanging out and having a good chat. Whether it be so we have another excuse to get coffee or not; she is a great sounding board for my many crazy ideas and plans. She knows exactly when to help me dream and when I need to actually be realistic. I look forward to many more Monday night hang outs once we are both married women!
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I used to work together at our "in-between" job. We both have a love for adventure and the outdoors, so it was naturally a match made in heaven. I love Lauren's spontaneous personality, yet, at the same time, quiet spirit. She is genuinely interested in every single thing that is on your mind and cares about how you are REALLY doing. Now that she's become a momma, it's been so fun to watch her transition into her new role. She exemplifies the type of woman I hope to become to my future husband as well as my kids.
Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn and I also used to work together ( I seem to find some great friends through jobs!). We could complain to each other about our crappy days, but we could also laugh about the craziness of life. Kaitlyn is just one of those friends who will tell it like it is. When you need to know that you're doing the right thing, she will give you encouragement. When you need to know that you're being a complete idiot, she can fill you in on that too! I am so grateful for Kaitlyn's honesty and humbleness. She has a heart to serve other people and a willingness to just jump in whenever help is needed!
