Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Bobbi Erwin and Randy Miller-Taylor
Los Angeles is a wonderful city with so many great things to do! Many of our guests are local, but for those coming from out of town, there is lots to check out.

Griffith Park Observatory Trails Peak

2715 North Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90027

The observatory is a wonderful free museum, you can hike up to it and around it to get some exercise views plus excellent views of LA and the Hollywood sign. You can also drive if hiking isn't your thing.

The Broad

221 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012

Free art!

Highland Park

Los Angeles, CA

The neighborhood adjacent to ours, lots of thrift and vinyl shops on Figueroa and York Avenues.

Clifton's Republic

648 South Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90014

A unique spot to visit in downtown Los Angeles. The bottom floor is an old school cafeteria and each floor above features its own themes such as a forest, a gothic lounge, and a tiki bar. There are sometimes live performers themed for their area, and you might be able to join in for some swing dancing! We love this spot, though we haven't been back since it reopened (it closed during the pandemic), but we hear that the nearly century old heart of it is still beating strong!

Descanso Gardens

1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011

A peaceful spot to take a break and enjoy nature in the LA area.
