It was the fall equinox in 2018, Bobbi remembered the date because earlier in the day she had done a little welcoming in fall tradition with her friend Kim in which they practiced meditation and set intentions for the new season. Little did she know, Randy was in one of the intentions that she set and she would meet him that night! We met at a music venue, The Echo in Echo Park, where they used to host a weekly dance night called "Funky Sole." Randy was with a big group of friends for a birthday, Bobbi was out to have a good time dancing with her friend Kathy. Randy's group invited them to join their dance party and we all soul trained and boogied together. Bobbi and Randy ended up talking, then dancing, and before they knew it they shared their first kiss on the dance floor. Little did they know that night that they would go on to travel thousands upon thousands of miles together and share so much love along the way. We spent 13 months on the road together in 2023-24, and while there were challenges, that time solidified our relationship and our bond. In October of 2024 we went to Yellowknife, NWT, Canada together to witness the majestic aurora borealis. Bobbi took the opportunity to propose to Randy under the lights. We are so excited to continue our journey together, getting married outdoors with our loved ones in the neighborhood that we met in.
