Bride: "Rustic chic." Groom: "Wedding."
Bride: "Our wedding colors are white, grey, and pastel green. Other than white, please feel free to wear these or other soft colors if possible." Groom: "Somewhere between Connecticut casual and Pennsylvania business [The Office reference]. Tuxes not necessary."
Bride: "Absolutely. Feel free to take a Lyft/Uber if you are coming from out of town, but if you are traveling by car there will be more than enough space for you to park right next to the venue." Groom: "Yes."
Bride: "We are planning on an outdoors ceremony with the reception held indoors. We have excellent help should it rain to move the ceremony indoors with more than enough room for everyone attending." Groom: "It's in a barn, so..."
Bride: "We plan on having options for both our meat-friendly and veggie-friendly guests." Groom: "Yeah, not for me."
Bride: "The bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception hall where we will be serving foods and beverages." Groom: "Eat some food, drink some drinks, eat some cake."
Bride: "The ceremony is scheduled to start at 2:30pm. We ask that you arrive one hour prior to the ceremony." Groom: "1:30pm."
Bride: "While we adore mini-adults, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.” Groom: "What she said."
Bride: "We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Please message us if you would like to bring additional guests." Groom: "One or none."
Bride: "As per wedding tradition, please take care not to wear white. If you could also avoid bright/neon colors, we would appreciate it." Groom: "For my sake, don't wear white."
Bride: "Of course. Neither of us frequent social media much, but I check FaceBook every now and then, so if you could tag me, I would love that!" Groom: "Yeah."
Bride: "If you are traveling from out of town, we encourage you to use Lyft/Uber. It should be a pretty short drive." Groom: "No."
Bride: "We will be doing a free His/Hers bar, consisting of some of our favorite drinks. Please drink responsibly." Groom: "Open bar!"
Bride: "Please RSVP online through our wedding website by the end of April so that we can plan accordingly." Groom: "April 30, 2021."
Bride: "We ask that you not take the centerpieces/flowers home with you. You will of course be provided with wedding favors to remember our special day." Groom: "Keep the centerpieces in the center."
Bride: "We do not at present have a wedding brunch scheduled. If you are invited to the rehearsal dinner, you will be sent an additional invitation separate from the wedding invitation." Groom: "Trust me, the wedding will be plenty."
Bride: "Please click on the tab labeled TRAVEL on our wedding website for more information on hotel accommodations." Groom: "Probably don't camp outside."
