From First Glance to Forever

On October 26, 2019, Bob and Lexie met by chance at the Thunderbird Cafe in Lawrenceville attending WYEP's Hellbender Ball. WYEP is a listener-supported public radio station in Pittsburgh playing indie, rock, and Americana, and their event is a Halloween costume concert. Bob was dressed as Hot Rod from the Andy Samberg movie, Hot Rod. This movie happens to be Lexie's dear friend's, now bridesmaid, Jordan, favorite movie. Jordan kept yelling movie quotes to Bob. After seeing Bob, Lexie said to her friends, "I call dibs on Hot Rod." After a night of music and dancing, a few days later Lexie received a text message that said "Hey! This is Bob." After a month of texting, Bob and Lexie had their first official date for dinner and movie in the Southside. About four months into dating, the world shutdown, and Bob and Lexie took this period to learn more about each other and grow stronger in their relationship. Bob and Lexie are definitely opposites, but compliment each other so well and agree on the things that mean the most to them in life. They make excellent travel companions and have been fortunate enough to travel extensively in the US and abroad. They enjoy spending time with their friends and family and trying new restaurants.
