Chestnut Hill Hotel
We have reserved a block of rooms here for out-of-town guests. When registering tell the reception desk that you are registering for the Maguire- Cavanaugh wedding to get the group rate. This hotel is located in the quaint cobblestone town of Chesnut Hill with great shopping, restaurants, and beautiful buildings and scenery. There is free parking behind the hotel, a free breakfast in the morning as well as free wifi. Make sure to stop in Killians Hardware for a real old-time hardware store. It is close to the church and wedding venue. You will need a car or Uber to get to the wedding. About 7 minutes each way to the Church and/or reception.

The Union League in Lafayette Hill is a beautiful but pricey hotel not too far from our events. If you want to golf, it has a great golf course. 10 minutes to the Reception. 15 minutes to the church. There are many reasonably priced hotels in Fort Washington and Plymouth meeting that are alternatives.
Flight
Philadelphia International Airport
There are many flight alternatives to Philadelphia on many airlines. Cab, Uber, Lyft, etc will cost about $50 to Chestnut Hill Hotel and the Lafayette Hill Union League and probably another 10-15 to get to the other hotels.

Septa Regional Rail
If you are staying at the Chestnut Hill hotel, you can take the airport line to 30th Street Station and change trains to the Chestnut Hill West line. It is a walk of about 5 minutes down the hill to the Chestnut Hill Hotel. The Chestnut East line line sometimes does not require a train change. The East line station requires a bit of a longer walk to the Hotel- about another 5 minutes and some of it uphill. There are no cabs at either Chestnut Hill station.
