As they navigated the ups and downs of life, their bond grew stronger, and they found themselves celebrating milestones together, from buying their dream home to adopting their two furry babies, Waldo and Kya. On a special anniversary trip to Canada, they found themselves aboard the Maid of the Mist, right in front of the breathtaking falls. Right before fireworks lit up the sky, Dave FINALLY made a move that would forever change their lives. With the misty falls as their backdrop, he got down on one knee and said, "I know this has been a long time coming, but will you marry me?"
