Dress Code

We kindly request Black Tie Optional attire for our wedding celebration. Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or a dark formal suit and tie. Women should wear a long evening gown in dark formal colors. We want our celebration to feel elegant and timeless, and we appreciate you dressing to match the occasion. When in doubt, it’s always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed!

Wedding Transportation

Answer

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests, shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue. Shuttles will pick up and drop off at the Hampton Inn in downtown Blue Ridge. Pickup for the ceremony will begin at 3:30 PM, with shuttles running every 30 minutes. Each shuttle accommodates up to 40 guests, so we kindly ask that you plan accordingly with your group. Following the ceremony, shuttle service will continue throughout the evening, allowing guests to come and go as they please. The final shuttle of the night will depart at 11:30 PM for the bride, groom, and their wedding parties. We kindly ask other guests to plan to depart on earlier shuttles, as the event concludes at 11:00 PM. Guests staying at other accommodations are welcome to make their way to the Hampton Inn to utilize the shuttle service. Alternatively, you may arrange private transportation or drive yourself—parking will be available at the venue for those who choose to do so.

Venue Parking Lot Shuttle

For safety reasons, all guests will be shuttled to the venue from a designated parking lot located just up the road at the beginning of the property by venue staff. The venue sits near a sharp turn along a cliffside, so direct access is limited. Shuttle service will ensure everyone arrives safely and comfortably. Due to this, please make sure you arrive with plenty of time before the ceremony begins.

Rideshare Services

Rideshare services can be sparse in Blue Ridge. Most places are walkable if you're staying downtown, but if you choose to stay in a cabin, we suggest reaching out to one of the companies below for ride-sharing services and reaching out to them ahead of time, as they book up. Alcohol Purchase

Answer

If you’d like to have alcohol in your hotel room or cabin, please note that Blue Ridge does not sell hard liquor in local stores. You can pick up beer and wine at Ingles, just up the road. However, if you’re hoping to stock up on spirits, we recommend stopping by a liquor store in Ellijay on your way into town. Also, another reason it is great to have a rental car.

We love your little ones, and we’re so glad many of you will be making a full getaway out of your time in Blue Ridge. While children are absolutely welcome to join you during your stay, we kindly ask that all wedding events — including the welcome party, ceremony, and reception — remain adults-only. We hope this can be a fun and relaxing weekend for everyone, and we so appreciate your understanding!
