our Moms became friends in Bessey Creek Elementary School's PTA in Palm City, Florida. Our families became "bowling buddies." The O'Dells moved to Georgia. The Bloomfield visited the O'Dells in Georgia. The Bloomfields moved to Georgia a few years later in 2013. Our first family get together as Georgia residents was at Poole's Mill park - aka sliding rock. Zechariah held Bella's hand as he helped her through the rocks. That evening, Zech told his mom he thought Bella was pretty, and Bella told her dad she had a crush on Zech. Bella learned about baseball to try to impress Zech. A few years later, Bella and mom attended a baseball game of Zech's. They got to talking after the game, and she laughed at all his jokes. The families made plans to get together the following day. After a day of flirting, during a game of apples to apples, Zech grabbed Bella's hand. Bella's sister wrote her phone number down for Zech (thanks Rachel!). You should have seen their parents faces when they saw their 14/15 year olds holding hands. They had their first date a few days later, and the rest is history. After 7 years of dating, Zech took Bella back to Poole's Mill Park and proposed. We have made it through so many seasons together: learning to drive, school dances, SATs, college applications, high school graduation, choosing colleges and careers, living on our own, doing long distance, applying to jobs, graduating college, starting our careers...to name a few. Though we've accomplished so much together, this is just the beginning. And we are so excited to celebrate this new chapter with you!
