Meant to be!

First comes school, then comes marriage!

It was the fall of 2019. As a recent Mary Persons High School graduate, Hunter was attending Middle GA State University (MGA) to complete his core classes before pursuing his engineering degree elsewhere. As part of her high school senior year dual enrollment, Aubrey was also attending MGA . That fateful semester, the two of them happened to take the same English class, and as the weeks passed, they found themselves exchanging casual glances and smiles with each other. One day, the students were notified that the class had been canceled. Although Hunter did not have another class after the one that had been canceled, he headed to the library, hoping to find Aubrey waiting there. Sure enough, she had the same thought! As the two sat together chatting in that library, the sparks began to fly, so much so that Aubrey skipped her next class (something she'd never done in her entire academic career)! Of course, the day she decided to skip a class would be the day the professor gave a pop quiz, but she assures us that her first and only "0" ever was worth it! During their five years together, Aubrey and Hunter have shared many adventures. They enjoy traveling, hiking/camping, pickleball, car shows, Legos, painting/crafts, and puzzling. In May of 2023, Aubrey graduated from MGA Summa cum laude and was a President's List Scholar in Occupational Therapy Assistance. She was also the co-president of her cohort. She is currently employed at The Medical Center/Navicent/Atrium and works in all areas with patients who require OT treatment. In May of 2024, Hunter graduated from Kennesaw State University Magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Aerospace Engineering. He is employed by a company in Marietta and is working towards his Professional Engineering Certification. As part of the job, he has traveled all over the US to inspect large corporations and factories to ensure they comply with engineering codes.
