Walk down Water Street which is the "main drag" of the Block Island town, and find shops, bars and restaurants all along the water front. This is also the area where the ferry comes in and a brief walk from the Spring House.
For a nice meal on island, this is definitely the place to go!
Mohegan Bluffs and Southeast Lighthouse are two of the first sights we saw when visiting Block Island. They are a must see! We recommend renting a bike or vespa to get there.
Moped rentals! Mopeds are the best way to see the island in our opinion. You could also rent bikes here.
This farm is a riot. Admission is free, and we highly suggest checking this crazy place out as its only a 5 minute walk from the Spring House. Here you will find alpacas, camels, lemurs, kangaroos, etc.
One of our favorite places to walk on the Island, the lighthouse marks the divide between the Long Island Sound and Block Island Sound. Too far to walk from town, but easy to get to by bike or vespa! You will be walking on sand so wear appropriate footwear.
Mansion Beach is one of the most picturesque beaches and has the best waves to body surf. To get there from town, travel about three miles down Corn Neck Road, and look for a dirt road on the right with a Mansion Beach Road sign.
Restaurant in the newly rennovated Beach Club hotel that is right on a private bach! Grab a drink/bites at the back patio!
This is one of our favorite breakfast, lunch and brunch places on the island.
If you need some booze!
If you need snacks, toiletries, etc.
