Joseph has been the most pleasant surprise! While he and I met quickly at a house warming we did not speak much. I was too excited for my bestie's proposal that her BF had planned during the house warming/game night. A week later, I randomly ran into Joe in the city coming from work. It was so ironic because we literally worked 2 blocks from each other for over three years and I run in to him on my last week at that job. Four months later he asked his tenant (my bestie's hubby) to have me text him because he needed help with getting Jasmine into school. (a lie to get my number I'M SURE). While our texts begin as banter and jokes it turned into so much more... I started praying when I realized this could be more... Very quickly, I knew he'd be my life partner...

It was a dinner to celebrate another year of life. We planned my birthday trip to Vegas. We arrived at Top of the World Restaurant to be greeted by our butler as he presented Juliana with 2 dozen roses. We breezed past security and proceeded to board the elevator to the 112th floor. As we ascended into the sky, I was overwhelmed and excited to show her how she’s had me on Cloud 9. We arrive to the top and walk out to the terrace. She's gazing on to the beautiful city below, I grab her hand and drop to one knee, profess my love to her and pop the question. She said YES!!!

I honestly can't wait to build a family with Joe! If you know Joe, you know he swears he's a "tough guy" and nothing gets past him but when it comes Jasmine & Christian... Can you say SUCKAAAAA. I just love it! We often joke about how "stern" he'll be with our child but we all know that's NOT happening. He's such a papa citerez. I am preparing myself to be the "mean" parent.
