The future Blilers’ love story begins on Match.com. Doug came across Abby’s profile and sent their first message. They spent the next two weeks getting to know each other the millennial way - via text and the occasional phone call (much to Abby’s dismay) before their first date. In the parking lot of Montgomeryville Cycle, Abby and Doug met for the first time. Doug quickly eased the first-date awkwardness when he went running across the showroom in his black Diesel jeans to drool over a Ducati 1299 Panigale R (if you know you know). Abby was amazed by how much he knew about the bike and loved how animated Doug was as he shared his extensive knowledge with her. Once Doug was able to tear himself away from the bike, they left the dealership to get dinner and drinks. Abby was clearly suffering from some residual first-date jitters… she proceeded to get lost trying to exit the parking lot and then ran a red light on the drive to the restaurant. The rest of the date was much more calm and uneventful. At the end of the evening Doug and Abby made plans to go out again the following weekend – from there the rest is history!
