The Boston Atheneaum is directly downtown, right next to the State House & Boston Public Garden. There are tons of hotels near by and we figure that guests can choose their own experience!
Most friends & family are local - they may decide to make a weekend out of it and stay in the city, but they may also decide to make their own plans that are convenient for their family. We respect all decisions!
If traveling from out of town, I'd recommend staying in Beacon Hill, near the Boston Common, or Boston Public Garden near Newbury Street. You can also stay at many of the old historic hotels right on the Freedom Trail. I'd also suggest to stay anywhere on the waterfront, or even the Seaport. We are partial to Cambridge. If you decide to stay in Cambridge, you can always get explore the area and take public transportation to the venue, or a quick Uber/Lyft.
Nearest T Stations: Park Street, Government Center, Charles/MGH, North Station is a bit of a walk but we've done it many times!
