Winter Park Resort
We recommend staying at Winter Park Resort's lodging options. Special rates for our wedding are available through the booking link below. Please use that link to book, but check out the resort's main website for more information and photos of the options. *Important note: Check-in is not until 4 p.m. with no guarantee of early check-in, and you must be to the gondolas for transportation to the ceremony and reception by 4:15 p.m. the day of the wedding.* About the discounted lodging options: -Zephyr Mountain Lodge: Steps away from the Gondola, the lodge features 1, 2, & 3 bedroom, fully-equipped condominiums. -Parry Peak Lofts: Three bedroom condominiums located over the shops at the resort and only a short walk to the Gondola. These are 1,400-square-foot, modern options. -Vintage Hotel: The resort's hotel option, which is a 10-minute walk from the Gondola. This property comes with studio to 2 bedroom options and includes kitchenettes. -Iron Horse Resort: This property is located approximately a half-mile from the Gondola, about a 15-minute walk. These are older-style models with studio to 3 bedroom options and include full kitchens. *Guests could also initially book at Founder's Pointe/Fraser Crossing, however, there will now be construction the weekend of our wedding, so it is no longer available. Anyone who booked these condos will be contacted by Winter Park Resort and be upgraded to the Zephyr Mountain Lodge at no additional cost. This is not a wedding block, so rooms are subject to availability at the time of your reservation. The special discount is available for booking from Sept. 15 to Sept. 26. There are many Airbnb options in the area, but transportation will not be provided. Rideshares do not operate in Winter Park.
Train
Amtrak
If you don't want to rent a car, there's a two-hour train ride from Denver Union Station to the Winter Park area. Take a rideshare or the RTD A-Line from the airport to Union Station. Train options are limited, with typically only one train a day. There are buses from the train station to Winter Park Resort.
