Mozart’s is a coffee shop and bakery close to downtown Austin. It is right along the Colorado river and has some really neat light artwork at night.

Catch a formula one race or a concert at this impressive race track.

Experience authentic Texas barbecue at Terry Blacks. Make sure to get here early, they get busy very quickly!

Mount Bonnell

This is the highest point in Austin. It is a short trail that has some beautiful overlooks of the Colorado river and the Austin skyline.

Lake Travis

Lake Travis is a neat area to go see more of the hill country and enjoy some outdoor activities.

The Oasis On Lake Travis

The Oasis is a Mexican restaurant right on lake Travis that has beautiful views especially of the sunset. There are also many shops and other restaurants around it.

Georgetown

The town square in Georgetown is a great place to walk around and visit some small shops and boutiques. Southwestern University, the oldest university in Texas is also in Georgetown.

Round Rock

Round rock is another fun downtown area with lots of great restaurants. It is also home to round rock donuts, some of the best glazed donuts in Austin!

Wimberley

Wimberley is another cute small town close to Austin. It has a great downtown area with lots of boutiques and stores and it’s a great place to float the Blanco river in the summer.

Gruene

The Gristmill in Gruene is a really good restaurant. Gruene Hall is also the oldest dance hall in Texas. There are lots of little shops and fun stores in downtown as well.
