Which airport should I fly Into and how far are they from the wedding location?

Answer

Charlotte, NC or Greensboro, NC would be the two most accessible airports. You can expect a 2-hour drive from either airport.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

There will be transportation from the Courtyard Marriott Banner Elk and for those staying within the Grandfather community. All other guests will need to arrange their own rides to and from the events.

Are there Ubers in the area?

Answer

There are not Ubers in the area. Transportation will be provided for those staying within the Grandfather community and at the Courtyard Banner Elk. For any other transportation needs, we recommend reaching out to: High-Country Black Car Service. See our travel page for more information.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We will have a hotel block at the Courtyard Marriott Banner Elk. If you are more interested in a rental house or condo, there are Airbnb and VRBO options in area or you can click the inquiry link in the Travel section on our website if you are interested in renting within the Grandfather Country Club community.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! No transportation needed between events on Saturday.
