Guadalajara has a large international airport that should make travel easy! If Guadalajara is your entry into Mexico, you will go through customs & immigration here. Please make sure your passport has not expired! During immigration, you will either be greeted by an officer or go through a self service kiosk. If you go through an officer, you will be asked the purpose of your visit- travel, wedding, tourism are all acceptable answers. They will hand you a "receipt" with a QR code to fill out prior to your departure- this is important and will be requested upon your departure. You will then proceed to baggage claim and pick up your checked bag if needed. Before you leave you will go through customs where you will first fill out a form asking about your flight info and what goods you are bringing into Mexico and then press a button that will randomly light up green or red which will determine if your bag needs to be inspected or not. Pro tip: bring a pen to avoid having to ask someone for one! Ground transportation within Guadalajara: Ubers are not allowed to pick up people at the airport . To avoid having to walk with your luggage, follow the taxi prompts within the airport, bilingual attendants are available. You will pre pay at a kiosk, your destination will be asked and then you will be directed towards the available taxi's. They are clean, professional and safe. Getting around Guadalajara with Uber is practical and safe! For departure to the airport, Uber is recommended, regulating drop offs is not enforced.

Guadalajara cuenta con un gran aeropuerto internacional que facilita los viajes. Si Guadalajara es tu punto de entrada a México, pasarás por aduanas e inmigración aquí. ¡Por favor, asegúrate de que tu pasaporte no esté vencido! Durante el proceso de inmigración, te recibirá un oficial o usarás un quiosco de autoservicio. Si pasas por un oficial, te preguntarán el propósito de tu visita: viajar, asistir a una boda o hacer turismo son respuestas aceptables. Te entregarán un "recibo" con un código QR que deberás llenar antes de tu salida; esto es importante y se solicitará al momento de tu partida. Luego procederás a la recogida de equipaje para recoger tu maleta documentada, si es necesario. Antes de salir, pasarás por aduanas, donde primero llenarás un formulario indicando la información de tu vuelo y los bienes que estás trayendo a México, y luego presionarás un botón que, de forma aleatoria, se iluminará en verde o rojo para determinar si es necesario inspeccionar tu equipaje. Consejo: ¡lleva un bolígrafo para evitar tener que pedir uno prestado! Transporte terrestre dentro de Guadalajara: No se permite que los Ubers recojan pasajeros en el aeropuerto. Para evitar caminar con tu equipaje, sigue las señales hacia los taxis dentro del aeropuerto, donde hay asistentes bilingües disponibles. Pagarás por adelantado en un quiosco, te preguntarán tu destino y luego te dirigirán a los taxis disponibles. Son limpios, profesionales y seguros. Moverse por Guadalajara con Uber es práctico y seguro. Para tu salida hacia el aeropuerto, se recomienda usar Uber, ya que la regulación de las áreas de descenso no está estrictamente controlada.

There may still be rooms available for the 7th through the 10th, but the 6th has sold out.
