Our story

Noelle and Blake’s story technically begins back in high school… though if you had asked either of them then, they definitely wouldn’t have predicted the ending. They first met thanks to a bit of a family crossover. Noelle’s older sister, Mikaela, had just started dating Blake’s older brother, Kaleb—so naturally, a good old-fashioned family BBQ was in order. The Grossos invited the Wagners over, introductions were made… and just like that, Noelle and Blake met. Blake was the tall, baseball-playing country boy—just a couple years older—with an easy charm about him. Noelle was a little more reserved, quietly taking it all in. She thought he was cute… but maybe a little too smooth. Blake, on the other hand, noticed Noelle right away—beautiful, but not the easiest to read. Cue Kaleb, who decided their love story simply needed a push. For months, he made it his mission to play matchmaker—teasing Noelle, scribbling Blake’s name across her notebooks, and refusing to let the idea go. Eventually, she gave in and agreed to go to an FFA dinner and dance with Blake and his family. And her official review at the time? Not her type. But somehow, that still wasn’t the end of their story. A few years passed. Life did its thing. They graduated, went separate directions, and found themselves in different relationships. Noelle headed off to college, and Blake began building his career as an electrician. Then came the holidays… and a little bit of fate. By now, Mikaela and Kaleb had kids, and their families were spending more and more time together—birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas… the kind of gatherings where familiar faces become constant ones. And somewhere in between the chaos of family parties and catching up, something shifted. What started as simple conversation turned into easy laughter, inside jokes, and a friendship that just felt right. They were older, a little more sure of themselves, and seeing each other through a completely different lens. This time, it was undeniably something more. Turns out, they had a lot in common… and a lot of fun together, too. (And let’s be honest—having built-in double dates with their siblings didn’t hurt.) Now, after eight years of knowing each other—and three years of loving each other—it’s safe to say Kaleb might’ve been onto something all along. Funny how the best love stories sometimes just need a little time… and a very persistent big brother ♡
